Question
At the end of 2019, we embarked on a grand adventure. DIP chose us as the software provider for their upcoming power tool for the performing arts. At that time, PNL and Podiumkunst Info existed as two separate tools. These two need to be combined with many other requirements into one web application.
Approach
First, we took care of the design of the dashboard. With a dedicated scrum team, we then got to work. We delved into ticketing changes, making complex financial agreements, and generating up-to-date audience information. Our in-house developers worked with Microsoft Dot.net for the powerful APIs and Vue.js as the JavaScript framework for the new application.
Result
The development took a few years. Almost all impresarios, producers, and theaters in the Netherlands have been reunited in this tool. And every month, more follow. Together, all parties gain better insight into their audiences, with less administrative hassle. Thanks to the new application, all ticket sales, audience information, and contracts are in one place.
