Question
The contemporary cultural center Forum Groningen is a vibrant meeting place for everyone curious about today and tomorrow. Spread over ten floors, you will find a library, five cinemas, the Storyworld museum, Smartlab, catering, and a rooftop terrace. With over 2.5 million visitors annually, the demand is to optimize service for them and enable employees to work more efficiently.
Approach
When you have a lot to convey, but no army of people in marketing or editing, you have to manage your time wisely. Content management takes on a whole different dimension and ideally should be quick and simple to execute. Can we automatically synchronize, organize, prepare, and clearly present all (!) content so that employees work more efficiently and visitors easily find their way? The answer is ‘Yes!’. We connect different systems via CAS and build a smart platform with endless possibilities in content management. Duplicate work has become unnecessary.
Result
More human contact with the target audience and fewer digital actions. Forum now spends less than half the time inputting and publishing content; the audience can easily find the way to the right information, start times, and other details on the revamped platform.
That Forum Groningen is grand and diverse is something you comprehend. With its exhibitions, Forum also exerts a significant attraction on visitors from both home and abroad. In terms of offerings, you can find eye-catching exhibitions that travel the world as well as smaller exhibitions with local partners.
All exhibitions are focused on popular culture, technology, and current events - and we contribute to that with The Cre8ion Lab. For example, we also provided the software for the seats in the Forum, where you can view various content about the exhibitions, Groningen itself, or even watch a trailer of one of the films via a touchscreen. Oh, and where do you think that content on the many narrowcasting screens in the Forum comes from? Exactly!
